Wendy Palmer was born in Perth, Western Australia, but currently lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She’s patted tigers, ridden elephants, dog-sledded across glaciers, faced down lions in the Serengeti, swum with whale sharks, and camped in the Sahara, but she secretly prefers curling up with a good book.
She has published a body of non-fiction articles analysing literature, including a look at time travel fiction and a piece on literary crushes (Lord Peter Wimsey is her own favourite literary crush). Her first non-fiction book is self-help expat guidebook Continental Shift: How to Move Yourself, Your Family, and Your Stuff Overseas, available now through Lulu or Amazon.
She has also had several short stories published across various genres, but prefers the fantasy field. Her first novel, After the Dragon, features thieves, kings, and elves, though the dragon of the title is merely figurative. It’s available now as an ebook or paperback through BooksforaBuck.com, Fictionwise, or Amazon.
